The beauty of flow

I’m Anaïs, a multi-disciplinary artist and biologist with a deep passion for flow. My artistic roots were planted long before I ever picked up a prop: through classical music, various dance disciplines and a vast inner world mesmerized by nature, beauty and authenticity. I consider myself as a learner at heart, curious about many things and always looking for ways to explore my inner and outer worlds.
In 2017, I discovered how a simple hoop allows me to ground in my body, merge with the music, and simply be in the moment with all emotions that need to be told. I experienced what it is to be in an intuitive and care-free “flow state”. What began as a hobby during my studies, then quickly became a purpose: to share the gift of movement meditation with others.
By and by, I started sharing this passion in like-minded communities through workshops. I love to create spaces where people feel safe enough to be playful, and experience movement as a language for emotions, with or without a tool. Seeing sparks in my student’s eyes fills me with joy.
By flowing authentically, I put together shows with fire and LED and had the chance to perform at multiple large-scale events. festivals. In my shows, I pour out my passion and create visual experiences that give a timeless magical feeling. My hope is to spark seeds of wonder and joy in the hearts of audiences from various backgrounds.

Beyond performing, I support the arts of movement and music through collaborations and event organisation. My longing for a community that values connected movement, brought me to create my own flow arts festival in Belgium, Flow-er Fest, where like-minded flowers get together to learn, connect and get inspired in various disciplines. Merging powers and working with all kinds of partners (festivals, performers, event organisers,…) to bring artistic projects to life feels meaningful and necessary – because art is something the world needs now more than ever.
My mission is simple: to create, to inspire and to help build a world that feels more authentic, embodied and free.
I invite you to join me on this journey and explore the art of movement with me.
